On January 26, 2026 the Building Mental Health Capacity at Higher Education Institutes in Southeast Asia project, also known as MENTALHIGH, was pleased to organize a capacity-building workshop on “Psychological Resilience in Response to Educators’ Workload.” The workshop was held under the presidency of Ms. Bun Sophany, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Education, with the participation of heads and deputy heads of departments, offices, and lecturers of the National Institute of Education.
The workshop aims to discuss how to build resilience in response to the responsibilities of the teaching staff of the National Institute of Education. The program was led and coordinated by Ms. Hong Nai Sim, Ms. San Soi Rukkha and Ms. Wa Chamnan, starting from a series of talks and activities such as assessing the stress and resilience levels of the participants. Then, an introduction to emotional relaxation through art, the principles of resilience, its importance and how to build it effectively.
All participants actively participated in the implementation, sharing experiences as personal reflections and expressing gratitude for the workshop program that shared important and useful knowledge.
