On June 15, 2025, the MENTALHIGH Project an initiative to promote mental health awareness in higher education across Southeast Asia was honored to deliver an event at the National Institute of Education (NIE) titled: “Resilience Educator: Cultivating Emotional Balance and Personal Development” Led by Ms. Hong Naysim, the session explored vital topics such as:
✅ What resilience means for teachers
✅ The impact of stress and burnout
✅ Emotional balance and personal well-being
✅ Strengthening positive beliefs on personal development
✅ Guided relaxation technique
The event was opened by Mrs. Nou Channy, who introduced the project to the students and officially opened the Mental Health Calendar event. The students actively engaged in reflection, discussion, and sharing, highlighting the importance of resilience, self-care, and personal development in their journey as future educators. They expressed their appreciation for the event and found the topic both relevant and inspiring, extending their gratitude to the organizing team and the MENTALHIGH project for making it possible.
