On May 7, 2025, the Building Mental Health Capacity at Higher Education Institutes in Southeast Asia project, also known as MENTALHIGH, was pleased to organize a workshop titled “Let’s Talk About Anxiety” for the second cohort of postgraduate student teachers (Bachelor’s +2). This workshop highlighted key topics such as mental health, the importance of mental well-being, anxiety, and self-care. The student teachers actively participated by sharing and exploring mental health concerns, especially anxiety, aiming to better understand the issue and use that knowledge and skills to support both themselves and others.
Participants expressed their gratitude for the workshop, appreciating the meaningful and important knowledge shared. Mr. Thai Heng, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Education, also attended as an honor guest. His presence demonstrated the strong support and commitment of the institution’s leadership toward mental health initiatives for both staff and students within the National Institute of Education.
